Created for the exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Centro Nacional de Artesanato e Design de Cabo Verde (CNAD) in São Vicente, Pano Digi'Terra reflects on Cape Verdean cultural heritage and explores the relationship between tradition, memory and digital technology. The work proposes a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional Pano de Terra, bringing it into the digital realm through generative animations, constantly evolving imagery, and algorithms inspired by its patterns, rhythms and imperfections. It establishes a dialogue between a deeply rooted cultural tradition and the possibilities of digital creation, creating a bridge between heritage and the future. Exhibited from July to November 2026 at CNAD, Mindelo, São Vicente, Cabo Verde.
